Vintage ceramic oyster plate - Pair

This vintage ceramic oyster plate was produced by the French manufacturer Saint Amand. 

    •    Design: Featuring a green and white majolica glaze, the plate has six compartments shaped like oyster shells surrounding a central well for sauce or lemon. 

    •    Origin: Made in Northern France, these plates are commonly dated to the mid-20th century, particularly around the 1950s. 

    •    Purpose: Specifically designed for serving oysters on the half shell.
